Operation Manager

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain systems to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Stay abreast of changes in ISO standards and update internal processes accordingly.
• Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure policies and procedures align with state requirements.
• Monitor and interpret relevant state laws and regulations applicable to our industry.
• Oversee the company’s tax compliance strategy and initiatives.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
• Conduct internal audits to assess tax compliance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR departments to monitor the enforcement of standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update compliance policies and procedures.
• Communicate policies effectively across the organization and ensure understanding and adherence.
• Maintain the IT/laptop/internet infrastructure for around 30 employees.
• Any other operations-related tasks we ask you to do.

Preferred Experience

• BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration or a related field
• A certified compliance professional is a plus
• Proven experience or learning ability as a Compliance Manager or similar role with expertise in ISO standards, state laws, and tax regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly and be agile.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with the team in India.
