Description Of Job

The City of Columbus Department of Technology is seeking a part-time experienced architect with project managment and business analysis skills to assess functionality of ~20 custom applications and research options for replacing each. Applications are primarily in C# with SQL backend. This role requires working directly with business users and subject matter experts and requires excellent verbal and written communications skills. The Architect will often meet with city employees in person and/or via video conferencing between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm. Otherwise, work may be done independently with flexible schedule. This role requires excellent workshop facilitation, communications and documentation skills. Also, this role will direct the work of a business analyst. Posting is for 2026 with possible extension through 2027.
