The Technician will ensure reliability in cooling, power, environmental control, security while performing equipment installs, repairs, asset inventory, access control, and decommissioning. The Technician will be responsible for escorting any vendors throughout the data center. The Data Center Operations Technician is proficient in diagnosing and repairing faults; able to monitor data center infrastructure; capable of tracking and responding to alerts and incidents, including troubleshooting and escalating issues as needed; adept at maintaining accurate documentation; good oral and written communication skills; knowledgeable of safety and security procedures and protocols; and great time management and problem-solving skills.

2 years of experience in the following: maintaining hardware infrastructure in a data center(s); installing, configuring, and maintaining physical hardware; networking, server hardware, and ITIL-based operations; using a ticketing system, similar to ServiceNow or Cherwell; and utilizing monitoring tools.

Associate degree in information technology, computer science or systems analysis Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Additional Information
Local to Southern CA residents only. Current Driver’s License with no restrictions. Candidates must have their own vehicle to travel to 444 Nash St. El Segundo and Orange County Data Center 1400 Santa Ana, CA. Able to lift 50 lbs.
