About the Job 

The Technical Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. As a key member of the IT Services and Consulting team, you will work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to ensure that the software and systems developed meet the business requirements and goals.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements. Use a variety of techniques such as interviews, surveys, workshops, and data analysis to understand business needs.
  • Solution Design: Work with graphical and technical teams to design solutions that meet the requirements. Ensure that the solutions are technically feasible and align with the business goals and IT strategy.
  • Project Management Support: Assist project managers in planning, tracking, and managing projects. Help in the creation of project plans, schedules, and timelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that the developed solutions meet the business requirements and quality standards. Assist in the creation and execution of test cases and scenarios.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure that their expectations are managed, and their concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, solutions, and test cases. Ensure that the documentation is accessible and understandable to all relevant parties.
  • Change Management: Assist in managing changes to requirements, solutions, and project scope. Ensure that all changes are well-documented and communicated to all relevant parties.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, or a similar role in the IT services and consulting industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and analysis techniques such as interviews, workshops, and surveys.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall and tools like JIRA, Confluence, DevOps, and Git.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
  • Experience working with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with modeling and diagramming tools such as Visio, Figma, Lucidchart, or Balsamiq.
  • Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment.
  • Experience in the Medical Technology space.
