“Building a business is a marathon, not a sprint, so you have to be in it for the long haul.”

If you’re a first-time entrepreneur, you probably need to do a lot of research and planning before you’re able to persuade anyone — banks, investors, friends, or even family members — to give you funding for your great new business idea.

As one of the fastest-growing companies in the Midwest, Dash Technologies is geared towards helping startups evolve. With our new startup boot camp, we help budding ventures and existing companies recognize opportunity and take advantage of the marketplace.

Startup Dash’s boot camp is intended to help you take measurable steps in order to prepare and fine-tune your existing business plan and capture investor interest. By examining legitimate business weaknesses and strengths, you will be able to write a business plan which takes a hard look at your financial needs and prospects and takes the next step towards becoming a more successful enterprise.

This boot camp’s primary focus is to help aspiring entrepreneurs recognize and attain the first critical milestone in starting any business, paying customers. Paying customers validate a business idea and create forward momentum for the success of your new venture.

During the boot camp attendees will:

  • Create a new business plan or refine an existing one
  • Understand and take on the role of a founder, building effective partnerships and recruiting team members
  • Learn about the importance of marketing, personal selling, and customer acquisition
  • Develop a process of how to pitch to investors
  • Build a working knowledge of local resources to lean on for assistance
  • Discover effective technology-enhanced development work

This boot camp is for those who:

  • Are committed to starting their own business
  • Think they might have a great idea, but don’t know how to take the next step
  • Are interested in learning about the steps to build a successful business
  • See their future in the world of entrepreneurship
